Technology, Sustainability and the Successful
Visitor / Employee Experience
As Green Bay Packaging worked through the planning stages for their new facility – an enormous industrial plant that would house a 300 yard-long paper mill (the first to be built in the state of Wisconsin in over 30 years), they contacted Thysse for help in creating a new visitor experience.
The Green Bay Packaging tour had always been an important part of their customer experience. They had a tour program in place and a dedicated staff to run it. Now, how would they take advantage of a new space to create a truly remarkable visitor experience? They turned to Thysse.
Over the course of several months and several meetings, Thysse worked with GBP staff, administrators, their marketing department, the architect and the general contractor to develop a welcome center and innovation learning center for their customers. Thysse also discussed the importance of creating spaces dedicated to the employees. The internal messaging and culture reinforcement is just as important to an organization’s success.
The resulting project consisted of a cohesive visual brand palette across visitor and employee spaces. We also worked to create updateable exhibits, with graphics and messaging that could be easily switched out as the overall GBP story expanded or marketing messaging evolved.
After the installation of graphics at the Green Bay, Wisconsin facility, Thysse was asked to help with developing similar programs in their other facilities around the country.
